It was later revealed that the man had been stabbed and he was escaping from his attacker. He was in a serious condition, and this is why the police were alerted immediately. All CCTV footage is being closely monitored and information is being taken by the witness or people who were present at the scene. Some people believe that the police had grabbed CCTV footage that showed a person attacking another one. The victim received several knife blows which affected the liver and the lung area.

The victim seemed to immediately fall down right when he got onto the train. Passengers were astonished at first but then a man courageously called the police and told them about the stabbing. The quick thinking of a passenger alerted the police who brought the ambulance services along with them. Both the Portuguese police and ambulance were waiting for the train to arrive.

When the train arrived, the victim was almost unconscious. Search is still going on for the assailant as we speak. Police are keen on finding the attacker as soon as possible. One police personal told the nearby citizen that these kinds of attacks are unaccepted in a country like Portugal and the police will definitely find the assailant.  There is no official statement from the police yet but keep the news on for an official word about the attacker.

Portugal is a peaceful country where many tourists come to visit the scenic beauty of the country. These kinds of attacks are very rare, but they must be dealt with a strong hand and punishment must be enforced to keep peace in the country as man escapes after stabbed.

The fellow passengers said that the victim had nearly escaped from the attacker, and it was at the last minute when he ascended inside the train. They further added that had he been 2-3 seconds late, the door for the train would have closed for him. Some of the passengers were also shell-shocked to see blood for the first time. Medical services were also available for any shock or trauma victims of the passengers of the train.

At this time, the citizens hope the police become successful in apprehending the attacker so the city can live in peace and safety. Prayers are also required for the man who is currently in critical condition while he got stabbed.
