Guano Apes Have Postponed Concert In Portugal

Guano Apes were destined to go on their tour ‘Free the Monkey’ which would take them to different countries. The recent news from the band has confirmed the postponement of the concert. Their tour also included a concert in Portugal. The band announced on social media that their tour had been postponed due to illness. They are extremely sad to make this announcement, but health always comes first. Many fans were excited to see the German band perform in Portugal.

Both the fans and the members of the band are sad but unfortunately, this decision is best for everyone. The band stated on their social media:

This is extremely difficult for us, but we have to inform you that, unfortunately, the ‘Free the Monkey’ tour will have to be postponed due to illness. We have tried everything to make this almost completely sold-out tour happen as planned, but health comes first.

They also said that the members of the band are as sad as their fans are at this moment. This news has been circulated but do note that the band will be back once their health becomes better. It is believed by the band that if they are unable to give their 100 % during the tour, it would be unfair to the fans who have paid to see them perform. This decision to postpone the tour has been taken after careful consideration by all the band members and their manager.

New Schedule For Tour Will Be Announced Soon

Guano Apes are currently working hard to make a new schedule for their tour. They are finalizing all the dates and the venues for their upcoming tour which will be held soon. The band has assured their fans that plenty of time will be given to reschedule the shows. The fans would have enough time to make their arrangements to attend the show. New dates for the tour will be announced by the band very soon.

It is expressed that the fans should wait patiently at the moment and give the band time to recover from their illness. The initial plan was that the band would perform a concert in Portugal on 23rd November 2024. The venue was scheduled for LAV – Lisboa ao Vivo but later this venue was changed to Sala Tejo which is located at the Meo Arena.
