This deal highlights the growing success of Portuguese football. The national teams have achieved major milestones over the years. They have won the UEFA European Championship and the Nations League. Gomes believes Puma will help Portugal continue this success.
A Long-Term Deal With Puma
The FPF did not reveal all the details of the contract. Gomes confirmed that the deal will last at least until 2030. This is a significant year for Portuguese football because Portugal will host the FIFA World Cup with Spain and Morocco.
Gomes said:
It is the signing of a long-term contract for stability and protection of the investment. All the contracts we have signed in different areas run until or beyond 2030, and this one will not fail to respect this duration
The agreement includes more than just the senior teams. It also covers youth squads, women’s teams, and other national squads. This ensures that all Portuguese teams will benefit from Puma’s designs.
