The Famous Fatacil Fair Is Back In Lagoa For The Month Of August

The 43rd Famous Fatacil Lagoa is back in August. This fair is one of the most popular ones in the summer. Citizens are desperately waiting for the fun activities that this fair holds.

Fatacil Fair Is Just Around The Corner

Fatacil fair comprises of arts and crafts, tourism, agriculture, commerce, and industry for the city of Lagoa. Citizens of Portugal are always excited about this summer fair. People from around the world travel to Portugal to attend this fair. The official dates for this year’s Fatacil fair are from 16th August to 25th August.

This is a 10-day Fair whose opening ceremony has taken place on Friday, 16th of August. It includes various aspects of facilities like music, culture, local cuisines, and much more. This event is marked as the largest fair in the south of Tagus. It brings the Algarve and the surrounding counties much closer.

Various art pieces will also be available to the public. Around 180 artists from the country assemble at the fair to sell out some of the best unique pieces. Live demonstrations of art can also be witnessed by the public. You can find food items like sweets, dairy products, fruits, fish, sausages and much more.

Ticket Costs For Fatacil Fair

The same festival had around 200,000 visitors for the last year. This year, it is expected that this number will rise even more than the previous one. The tickets for the fair cost around 5 Euros per day for a single person. A family ticket can cost 16 Euros. If someone wants the complete ticket for the whole 10-day fair, he will have to pay 30 Euros. Kids who are either 12 or younger than that can enter the fair free of cost. However, IDs for the children will be checked at the entrance gate.

People can buy the tickets on the BOL website for Fatacil Fest. It can also be bought at the post offices of CTT by going in person. Another option to buy the tickets for the fair is by getting them from FNAC and Worten Stores. The fair will also have some live events that are planned to entertain the audience. The time of the fair is from 6 pm to 1 am daily. If you have not acquired a ticket yet, you can purchase the ticket at the venue as well. On-spot tickets are available at the entrance of the venue for everyone.

The fair consists of music which is thoroughly enjoyed by the people. Fatacil Fair has lineups for famous artists. This way, people can know beforehand which artist will perform on stage. The official lineups for the Fatacil Fair stage can be checked as follows:
