Fuel Prices To Drop Yet Again

It is estimated that the petrol prices will drop by around 1p per litre while the diesel prices will drop by 1.5p per litre. ACP, Automóvel Club de Portugal has stated that the prices will be falling soon, and it is better to wait till Monday to refuel the tank. Those who are looking to refill the whole tank should definitely wait for a few days until the government announces the new prices of fuel.

This week is going to be the third week in which the government has decided to reduce the cost of the fuel prices. ACP has stated that:

If the forecasts for next week are confirmed, the average price of plain diesel should be set at €1.553/l, while the plain 95 petrol should be at €1.709/l.

This will be a huge relief to the people as Portugal has recently been placed in the first spot as the best country to raise a family abroad. The recent drop in prices of fuel will further make the rankings of Portugal stand out.

It should be observed that the predictions of these fuel prices are solely based on the fact that the government will not raise the tax reductions that it has already imposed. However, noticing the recent trend, petrol and diesel prices are expected to further reduce in the future as well.
