An American woman who was 26 years old was rescued by a local Portuguese in the area of Boca do Inferno. This incident happened in the municipality of Cascais where an American Women Saved By Portuguese Waiter when she fell into the sea.

A lifesaving incident happened in the municipality of Cascais where a woman fell on a cliff. She was saved by a brave man who was standing nearby. The woman later returned to the restaurant to thank the Portuguese man who saved her life. This incident happened when the woman was walking, and she fell into the sea.

Many people who were watching nearby went to help her. The locals went in the water and pulled her to a rocky area. They waited for the arrival of Maritime Police who rescued her further. Some crew members of the Cascais Lifeguard Station also came for the rescue operation to save her life. This information was later released by the National Maritime Authority (AMN) who had conducted the operation.
The American woman was grateful for the help of the waiter who worked at Mar do Inferno restaurant. After one week of this incident, the woman returned to the restaurant where she met the ‘hero’ who saved her during this difficult time. She was greeted by the employees of the restaurant. The woman also met the waiter named “Pedro Santos” who had saved her life a week before. She thanked everyone at the restaurant and was super grateful for the help of Pedro on that day when she was saved.
Woman Thanks Local Hero And Portuguese Authorities
She paid a visit to the restaurant where Pedro works, the man who saved her precious life. The American woman believes that she is lucky that Pedro was present at that moment. She further said that she was very happy to meet her local hero who saved her life. The restaurant later posted on its social media handle of Instagram about her visit where she stated:
Now I’m happy. Feeling a warm, tight hug has no words to describe it.
The local waiter who is deemed as the hero of this story was also thankful that the woman is alive and well. He believes that he got help from other locals who were standing nearby. The waiter is also thankful to all the people who helped him during his rescue from the sea. He further said that he was happy to see the woman breathe again and live her life. His statement reads as follows:
You don’t know how good it is to feel a warm, tight hug from a person who a few days ago was cold and lifeless.
This news came into question when an alert was raised on Thursday of last week. The alert was raised at around 7:20 pm about a woman who fell into the sea and required rescue services from the Portuguese authorities. Some of the members of the Local Cascais Maritime Police Command came immediately to the scene. The Cascais Lifeguard Station also sent some men the assist in this rescue mission.
The Cascais Volunteer Firefighters and the National Institute of Medical Emergencies (INEM) were also present at the scene. This quick response from the Portuguese authorities made this rescue mission successful. All thanks go to the kind locals who were quick to jump into the sea to rescue the American woman and the Portuguese authorities who were involved in this successful rescue mission.
