Algarve Environment and Vegan Fair (FAVA) will be hosted from 20 September to 22 September. This festival will be held in Loulé. It is a free for all event where people will see new innovative items in the festival as FAVA Vegan fair starts September.
Environment And Vegan Fair Starts From September
This festival of FAVA is conducted by Benfazer which is a social association of Ambiental e Animal. It is in collaboration with the city council of Loulé. This festival is the biggest plant-based festival in Portugal. It is a very unique fair in the continent as many people from other countries do visit them as well. It was first celebrated in 2018 where meetings and celebrations were the main moto of the fair. Now, the fair focuses on more of a sustainable lifestyle and show cases more about the plants.

FAVA always includes many people from various regions in their festival. This year is no exception as there will be around 100 exhibitors who will participate in the event. This marks it as more of an ecological construction rather than focusing on just one thing. These exhibitors will be bringing fashion, cosmetics, jewelry of artistic nature, green mobility, vegetarian food, tattoos and much more. The only condition for these people is that their services should not affect the environment or any animals during their presentation within the event,
There will be some new initiatives for this year’s FAVA festival. These initiatives include some of the exhibitions that is dedicated towards the impact of fashion and electronic waste. There is another campaign such as “Repair Café Algarve” event which will teach them the basics. This event will help the people to know how to mend things with the help of some volunteers when some objects are broken down.
FAVA Offers Many Programs In Various Fields
FAVA Vegan festival has the ability to present various programs in a lot of fields. This event includes around 50 shows which will be displayed without charging any fee from the visitors. The people who attend the show will be able to watch theatre plays, circus, music shows, dance competitions and so on. They will also be able to participate in lectures on topics of nutrition, ecological construction or waste management. Those who like cooking or Yoga should attend this fair as well. This event will offer fitness classes, Yoga, Cycling classes as well.
Some of the permanent activities will also be offered to the visitors. These activities include massages, clothing stores, book exchange market, accessories of all kinds and much more. The festival also contains prize distribution ceremony which will announce prizes to winners every 60 minutes. This will provide a new experience for everyone who attends the festival. The arrangements for this year’s festivals are made even better than before. The target audience is aimed much higher for this year.
There will be around 15 restaurants available in the food court. This is more than enough. The food court will also have the facility to let the visitors try their own dishes. People can also let their cooking skills to test for some international dishes as well. All these dishes will be 100% plant based because this festival supports the vegans. The classes which are conducted for cooking will end with a taste test. This test is conducted to inform the visitors that eating the plants-based dishes can be delicious as well.
