Disney Plus To Change Subscription Plans

Disney has improved the new plan which will have much more features. The users will have the option of watching Disney Plus content on 2 screens at the same time. They will now watch movies and shows in Full HD on both screens. This way they will enjoy the HD shows on more screens.

The new plan has one drawback it restricts users from downloading the series. This way, you can only enjoy shows while being online. Users will not be able to watch any shows offline. The Vice President and General Manager of The Walt Disney Company in Portugal has also commented about the new subscription plans. Mr. Luis Fernambuco gave an official statement:

The launch of the ad-supported plan on Disney+ in Portugal is an important evolution of the service both for consumers, who will now have more options to access Disney+, and for advertisers, our partners, and for the advertising market as a whole.

New Standard And Premium Plans

Disney Plus will have more than one plan. Their plan with ads can now be replaced with the standard and the premium plans. The subscription which is supported with ads is called ‘Standard with Ads’. Users of Disney Plus will have two options when they subscribe to the channel:

  • Standard Plan: 9.99 Euros per month or 99.9 Euros per year.
  • Premium Plan: 13.99 Euros per month or 139.90 Euros per Year.

The difference between the two plans is quite a lot when it comes to the facilities being offered. The standard plan allows users to watch their favorite movies and shows in full HD. The resolution for this plan is much better. People will also have the option of watching TV shows and movies on 2 screens at the same time. The standard plan can be used to download movies for the offline mode maximum of up to 10 devices.

Disney Plus premium plan is almost the same as the standard plan. The only difference is that users can watch movies and shows in 4k resolution. This resolution comes with HDR, and users can watch episodes on 4 screens at the same time. All these new Disney+ Subscription Portugal plans will be available from 17th October.

Users will have to choose from either of the available plans. These new plans will offer them more options for the people. The standard plan will allow 2 screens to be used at a time. The Premium plan allows 4 screens to be used at a single time. Disney Plus expects people will be satisfied with these new subscription plans in Portugal.
